The TC1 transport stream converter is designed to output DVB-S2 transponder content to a Gigabit Ethernet network, while simultaneously delivering metadata on signal quality, lock status, MODCODs (Modulation and Coding) and more, right alongside the main data payload. Its data path is implemented via FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array), ensuring full transponder support, with minimal latency and zero PCR jitter.
The TC1 is highly suitable for a range of applications, including free-to-air TV, storage and archiving
(the product is supplied with AYECKA's TV archiving and transcoding software solutions), as well as HLS origin encoder feeds and monitoring systems. Its high rate link status-over-UDP feature also makes it an ideal match for antenna tracking and positioning solutions.
